A-Level Tuition
The GCE A-Level is the final hurdle before university, compressed into two intense JC years. HomeAiTutor supports H1 and H2 subjects with a 24/7 AI tutor for concept reinforcement and worked examples, plus specialist human tutors who can mark essays and structured-answer questions to A-Level standards — the kind of feedback that determines whether a student scores an A or misses by a band.

A-Level tuition — FAQ
When in JC should we start A-Level tuition?
JC1 is not too early — Promos at the end of JC1 determine whether a student can continue to JC2, and the content gap from O-Level to A-Level is steep. Starting support in JC1 Term 1 gives the most runway. For JC2 students, the earlier in the year the better, before Prelims arrive.
How does HomeAiTutor handle H1 versus H2 differences?
H2 papers are more demanding in breadth and depth than H1. When you submit the Request a Tutor form, tell us whether the subject is H1 or H2 and the specific school syllabus if relevant (e.g. H2 Further Maths). Your matched tutor will have experience with that paper.
Can the AI tutor help with General Paper (GP)?
The AI tutor is useful for GP comprehension practice and for checking essay argument structure. However, the open-ended nature of GP essays and the AQ means a human tutor who marks to A-Level standards adds the most value for the written components.
Is A-Level Economics better suited to AI or human tutoring?
Both. The AI tutor helps with concept checks, definitions and essay outline feedback instantly. For full case-study questions (CSQ) and complete essays that need A-Level-standard marking, the human tutor is essential — the marking rubric for Economics is nuanced in ways the AI alone cannot fully replicate.
Do you guarantee a specific A-Level grade or university placement?
No — no responsible tutor can guarantee a specific grade or university outcome. We provide syllabus-aligned practice and qualified tutors designed to help students improve.
